MACCIMO at the 12th World Sponge Conference

MACCIMO research team members participated in the 12th World Sponge Conference held in Vila do Conde, Portugal, from 9–13 September 2025. Our poster entitled “Linking shifts to physiology, microbiome, and morphology in Chondrilla nucula under future ocean conditions” was presented during the conference. Sponges form an integral part of the MACCIMO methodology, making the event especially relevant for sharing project insights with the international sponge research community.
