Experimental aquaria

The experimental aquaria located at the HCMR Cretaquarium that will accommodate the temperature and pH manipulation experiments in the frame of MACCIMO are up and running. Three independent 100-Liter tanks with continuous seawater supply are engaged for the project tasks. Temperature and pH is controlled and monitored with a GHL controller and sensors, while full spectrum lights provide photosynthetically active radiation corresponding to typical shallow underwater conditions.
