MACCIMO results presented at the 12th Conference of the Hellenic Ecological Society

A poster entitled “Climate change stress in benthic marine invertebrates: insights from a 3D morphological study” was presented at the 12th Conference of the Hellenic Ecological Society (HELECOS), held in Athens from 1–4 October 2025, by MACCIMO WP2 leader Eva Chatzinikolaou. The poster showcased the morphological responses of Chondrilla nucula and Hexaplex trunculus to combined temperature and pH stressors using micro-computed tomography analysis. Metrics such as density, structure thickness, porosity, and structure separation (average pore diameter) were estimated, highlighting population-specific and treatment-specific responses.
