Measuring respiration rates in gastropods The respiration rate of Hexaplex trunculus individuals from the three experimental treatments is being measured using specialised chambers with oxygen mini sensors (Loligo systems) connected to an oxygen meter. Measurements are recorded until seawater PO2 was reduced to 65% of air saturation.
