Sampling and live transportation of experimental organisms

A field expedition was organised to collect organisms from two distinct Aegean populations to support MACCIMO’s experimental setups. Sponges and gastropods were collected from Chalkidiki (North Aegean) and Crete (South Aegean) and transferred to the experimental tanks where they are undergoing an acclimatisation period under conditions similar to the current seasonal.
